I purchased two old beaten up Mosin Nagants from a old country pawn shop. I took them home and made them into two beautiful modern rifles. I used all the same parts that came with the rifles, including the stalks. I re-worked the stalks to get all of the nicks and scratches out of them, then I stained them, and used a special enamal to give them a glassy finish. I cut the bayonets off and blued the barel and floor plate. I polished the bolts, and on one rifle I added a scope mount and bolt kit. I often re-work stalks and blue rifles/guns for people.
